It's a Home Bar ~ Not a Phase, Not a Hobby
A hobby is something you do on weekends. This has a labeled syrup shelf, a dedicated freezer drawer for glassware, and a guest book. Her friends stopped calling it a hobby around the time she started inventing drinks named after them.
- Who Says It: The one who has explained the difference to her partner more than once.
- The Scene: A living room where the bar cart gets introduced before the dog.
- Gift Logic: For the friend who turned a corner of the house into an institution.
Every great cocktail hour starts with a strong cup of coffee the morning after ~ this glossy ceramic mug comes in white or black, 11 oz or 15 oz, with a comfortable C handle and your favorite pour front and center ~ coffee by day, hot toddy by night, no judgment at this bar
